The purpose for the James Lee Burkett Memorial Foundation is to provide Veterans and their immediate family members with a safe environment to receive treatment for PTSD and to provide housing and job training for these Veterans.

Providing Veterans who are struggling with PTSD access to support services in their area.
Being here for our Veterans to answer any question or call.
Establishing partnerships with other organizations to raise awareness of veteran homelessness and suicide due to PTSD.
Build relationships with local veteran-friendly employers to provide training and jobs for our Veterans as they get treatment.
Working with local Veteran agencies to assist not only the veteran but also the family.
Providing housing for Veterans while they seek treatment through building a veteran village of container homes.
Purchasing and/or donating land to house Veteran Villages.
Purchasing and/or donating building materials, engineering services, and labor to build these villages/homes.
Purchasing and/or donating Harley-Davidson motorcycles (a proven way veterans cope with the PTSD).
